“I cannot recommend the Reynolds family enough for choosing a future puppy.
In the summer of 2019, I brought home Bruce. The support from the Reynolds did not stop there as he visited numerous times weekly for continued training. I found training Bruce myself after these sessions was much easier following the Reynolds methods. Unfortunately, last summer while visiting the countryside Bruce was spooked by fireworks and bolted off. Dave and the family came down to help search for him and after 48 hours Bruce was found! The Reynolds were key in finding him and reuniting us. The care and support of the Reynolds does not just stop after 8 weeks and that story is a testament to this. Bruce is now going on 4 and I could not be any happier with the dog he has become with their help. ”

“Our journey began over a year and a half ago. After speaking with Dave and Nicole on the phone I knew we had made the right choice, the passion and love they have for these animals is truly a beautiful thing!
We had decided to get a boxer to help with our sons anxiety and (selfishly for me as I am a boxer lover). From before birth through the day we brought our girl home the communication was second to none! The Reynolds’s graciously opened up there home weekly for us to come and socialize with the puppies and our Charlee. The puppies are raised with their parents on site and are socialized with dogs and people. The puppies are around household sounds, they are loved beyond belief and are well on their way to being fully potty trained upon arrival. The Reynolds’s are always willing to help out whenever it is needed. We have boarded our Charlee there several times and brought her to run and play with the pack several times as well. I would recommend the Reynolds to anyone who is interested in purchasing a healthy well behaved loved Boxer! Me and my family feel blessed to have Our Charlee and equally blessed to have the Reynolds to call our friends.”

“From the moment I first spoke to them I knew it was meant to be!”
When our family started our search for our first puppy, we asked all around and called so many places. We were not sure what to do next because nothing clicked or seemed to be a good fit for us. Until one day a friend recommended, I get in touch with the Reynolds. From the moment I first spoke to them I knew it was meant to be! They were so knowledgeable and made it easy to understand the process and I could just tell they were so passionate about their dogs. I knew the dogs and puppies were in amazing loving care!! My husband and I wanted to surprise our four children with a puppy but wanted them to have a part in picking their pup. Dave and Nicole were in constant communication with us and keeping us informed on how the pregnancy was going and how the labor was going. Full of pictures and videos so we knew exactly what was going on the entire time! Once it was time, they allowed us in their home to visit mom, dad, and pups. We brought all four of our children. They let us hold every puppy we were able to play and love them! Our daughter fell in love with a second puppy! We spoke with the Reynolds about possibly taking two pups instead of the one. We were so nervous; they answered all our questions and concerns about taking two pups. They even put us in contact with another family who had in the past taking two pups at once. It was such a wonderful smooth experience! We rave about them to anyone who asks about our two pups! Captain and Aspen are now almost 3 years old, and we couldn’t be happier with them! We couldn’t imagine only have taken one without the other!! Dave is an amazing “dog whisper”! We call and text him with all types of training questions! He is always willing to help us out no matter how small the situation is!! He always has the right solution for us! Coming to our house to dog train or us going to him and our boys running with the pack! We can’t thank them enough for giving us two of our fur babies!!
— The Morgan Family (Syracuse, New York)
“Dave and Nicole are two of the most dedicated breeders you will find!
Their dogs are members of their family-puppies are raised inside their home around their other dogs and family members. Which we believe are why their pups are so amazing. You get updated photo and videos of the pups progress until you bring them home.
We have had the pleasure of getting two boxers from Dave and Nicole. We could not be happier with Niko and Tate they are both handsome, loving, funny and good natured we can’t imagine our family without them! Dave and Nicole are always there to answer any questions you may have or even give helpful advice. You never feel like you are bothering them. They are truly hands on breeders who love their dogs. You are not just purchasing a puppy with the Reynolds you are becoming part of a family! ”
— The Cangemi Famalam (Marcellus, New York)
“We have purchased two beautiful puppies from Nicole and Dave.
They always post updates on Facebook with each litter. Being able to watch the puppies grow from birth through 8 weeks was amazing. The details that Nicole and Dave take with the puppies are invaluable. They provide a complete medical history as well as a log of how they grow and gain weight during their first 8 weeks. We brought both of our puppies home with a toy, food, registration paperwork and most importantly a piece of blanket from the litter. We are forever grateful for our two beautiful boxers. Nicole and Dave continue to go above and beyond, even after we brought the puppy’s home. They are always available to offer advice on raising them.
— The Richardson Family (Liverpool, New York)
“We were first time puppy parents when we met the Reynolds. They made the whole process of buying a puppy so smooth and simple.
They posted frequent updates about how the pregnancy was progressing, making us feel connected from the very beginning. Their dogs are part of the family, and it is obvious how much they care about them. Once the puppies were born, they sent weekly updates with photos and weights right to us. We were invited to come to the house and visit our puppy before she was even big enough to bring home. We also got to watch the puppies learn and grow as a litter through online photos and videos posted by the Reynolds.’ It was so comforting seeing Daisy being handled by their children, running across the dining room floor, and learning to be a family dog from the moment she was born. Everywhere we go people tell us how beautiful and well-behaved Daisy is, and I think that it is because of where she came from. Thank you, Dave and Nicole, for everything! ”
— The Reals Family (Liverpool, New York)
“They've become part of the family and I can't say enough wonderful things about them and their boxers! ”
We met Dave and Nicole Reynolds in 2019 after our first boxer had passed. I had been looking on the AKC website and had sent my information out to multiple breeders. I quickly became bombarded with people emailing me. I felt like the breeders were more interested in getting money from us than taking the time to figure out what type of people we were. We wanted to know that whoever we purchased a puppy from cared what kind of life we would provide for their puppy in the future. When Dave and Nicole reached out it was very apparent, they wanted to know about our family and the environment the puppy would grow up in. We spoke numerous times over the next couple of weeks through text messages and FaceTime. It was during these weeks that we decided to get littermates. We bought Hawk and Rambo!! They are the absolute best boys. They love us fiercely and are best friends with each other. It was one of the best decisions we have made! When we picked up Hawk and Rambo, Dave had already worked with them on potty training. They had a good head start over most puppies their age! They are loved by so many people in our lives. They are currently three years old and in January we welcomed our first baby into the world. Hawk and Rambo are obsessed with him!!! It has been three years since we first met Dave and Nicole and they still check in on the boys. They are very involved through the whole process and after.

We are from Long Island and travelled all the way to Syracuse to get our boxer puppy from the Reynolds. We did lots of research and could’ve picked a breeder closer to home but felt the Reynolds were our best option. They spent a lot of time up front answering our questions and addressing our concerns as first time dog owners. We selected our puppy at two weeks old and brought him home about six weeks later. Gino is a lovable, healthy, well-mannered puppy. The Reynolds continue to be there for us and we couldn’t be happier with our boxer puppy!
— The Pignataro Family (Long Island, New York)
We were fortunate enough to bring home a beautiful, lovable boxer puppy from the Reynolds Family. From the moment we contacted Nicole and Dave, they felt like friends. They answered all our questions, sent daily updates about the puppies, and were very thorough in making sure our family was a good fit for one of their babies. We loved meeting the puppies (and parents) when the puppies were only 4 weeks old and knew instantly that they were very well taken care of. We truly value that our pup was raised in a home by a family with other adult dogs to help shape him into the wonderful dog that he is. When we brought our boy home, Nicole sent him home with toys, treats, blankets, food, and lots of care instructions. Even after we were settled at home, she was always ready and willing to answer questions and provide advice. Our pup (who is now 2) is a strong, smart, healthy, goofy, loving boy. He receives complements daily on his good looks and winning personality. Of the three dogs we have owned, he has been the easiest to train, is the best behaved, and truly has a heart of gold. I firmly believe that his beautiful demeanor is a result of the hard work and dedication the Reynolds family puts into raising their dogs. It is evident that the dogs they raise are treated as members of their family, every litter, every time. We could not be happier that the Reynolds family and their wonderful dogs came into our lives!
— The Ritter Family (Pennsylvania)
The Reynolds are “dog whisperers.” They do awesome training with the dogs and educate the families. Let me tell you about my daughter and Dobby… They have literally grown up together… They have both taught each other some naughty and good stuff… Maize has never taken Dobby outside without being on his leash and they must have known they weren’t supposed to be outside because they both were attached to each other’s hips… Maize can’t even breathe without him right here, she climbs up on the slide and he gets so much anxiety over her doing it. He shows absolutely no food aggression with Maize at all, they share toys, food, and water dishes, lol. We want to thank Dave and Nicole, Aubrey, and Camille for such an amazing dog. They take amazing care of him when we are out of town! He was ClaraBelle’s runt and is still the runt!!! If you are looking for a boxer with papers and all the fancy stuff and NOT a puppy mill pup, they are the place to go!!!

Lily, our little girl, joined our family in August of 2019. We had a boxer boy already named Leo and wanted to give him a playmate to add more boxer love to our house. When we were searching, we found the Reynolds family. From our first interaction to current day, they are a wonderful family. We talked on the phone, FaceTimed with them and texted. We got daily pictures and updates about Lily! This just made our family even more excited. The best part of all was we were able to talk to them about transportation of Lily. We live in RI and with our jobs it wasn’t going to work to take the drive up and back to get her. The Reynolds family was up for the journey and traveled to us. It was also great to see them meet where Lily was going to live and Leo. They stayed and chatted with us, seeing the interaction with the boxers and gave so many pointers and positive advice. To this day, Lily has had fantastic health and is a healthy wild boxer girl. She actually likes to sleep, unlike Leo! Haha We keep in touch with the Reynolds family and often send them pictures and keep them updated about Lily. The best is on her birthday, all the boxer parents comment on the Reynolds family birthday wishes with updated pictures of their boxer from the same litter. Overall, if you are looking for a boxer look no further! These boxers are amazing from the Reynolds family. You will get an instant best friend!

Our family cannot say enough good things about the Reynolds Homestead, as breeders and as humans! From beginning to end, the process with our pup was unlike any experience we've had before. Dave and Nicole are two of the most honest and trustworthy people we've had the pleasure of knowing and will go above and beyond to make you part of their family and include you in every step of the adoption. To them, their puppies are not just their business, they are their babies and receive round-the-clock, individual attention and care. The services offered to adoptive parents alone made them stand out above any breeder. From daily pictures and videos, health updates, and training to their open invitation to visit or text with any questions or concerns, day or night. The Reynolds have not only become undoubtedly the only choice for us, but also great friends who continue to support and encourage along our crazy journey, not just in raising our boxers, but in life as a whole.

Nala is the center of our whole family. She knows it, the kids know it and us parents sure know it! She loves to go to “camp” (grandma & grandpa’s!) while mom and dad go to work and visit with everyone that stops in. She greets everyone at sports games, kids run up to the car for drop-off and pickup, she is the first face you see when you arrive at our house, and she makes sure she is the last you see when you leave! Nala loves everyone she is the best. She is so smart, silly and has the calmest temperament. She keeps us al laughing with her playful disposition. She can make anything a game - barking and leaping around like a kanga-roo if a leaf moves (acorn, pinecone, stick, feather, animal…anything that moves really) near her. Her favorite toy in the world is her red Kong frisbee. It took her a long time to figure out her feet could leave the ground to catch it, but when she did there was no stopping the play. She looks at us pathetically rain or shine to go outside and throw it to her. She also found in soft snow the frisbee will slide. Dave and Nicole sent us home with all of her credentials, a goodie bag of enough to start off a family that would have no idea what a dog may need and was already more than 80% potty trained! They took time to go over any questions, give us tips and tricks on training and just sat to talk with us. I am positive they were making sure both we were comfortable with taking a puppy home and that the puppy was comfortable with her new family. The way you are able to watch your fur-baby enter the word and then play, grow and train – is just the best ever! We found ourselves rushing to Facebook to see if another picture or video was up. They love them all like they are their own while they have them for the short time and it definitely translates to having the snuggliest girl. You really get to see how much love and devotion they have put into this passion for Boxers. The whole family is actively involved and there to care for your new best friend until you are able to love them just as much!

Three years ago, we were on the hunt for another boxer after our previous one passed away. Formerly having a boxer, I knew exactly what to look for in a breeder who cares a lot about the health and temperament of the breed. Dave and Nicole have been breeding boxers for several years, and show the utmost care for their boxers, and the puppies that come thereafter. When we got our girl Laila (at 10 weeks), she was already potty trained, knew how to sit (especially for food) and had a wonderful temperament. Nicole and Dave share a lot of their life with their boxers publicly; letting people watch the birthing process, watch training that they are doing, and showing how they have fun with their boxers and pups. Not only do the Reynolds breed, they also offer training, and dog sitting. Our girl stayed with them for a weekend once, and she had the time of her life in a house full of boxers! I kind of wish I was there too. Maybe we got lucky, (our girl was one hell of a good puppy)! No digging, no chewing, no taking off on us, but we mostly thank Dave and Nicole for that and all the hard work they do before the puppies go home. They introduce their pups to everyday noises like vacuums, thunder, and experiences like rain, car rides, and waiting for their food until they are released. When the time comes for us to get another boxer, you sure bet we will be coming back to the Reynolds for one!

When it came to getting my first dog, I always wanted a Boxer. There was just something about them! The look, their goofiness, the loyalty, and their color. So, when it came time to finally go all in on getting my new best friend, I started putting feelers out. I talked to a couple different breeders before hearing about the Reynolds Homestead. I heard about them through someone that currently had one of their boxers. We got the phone number and called. When Dave and Nicole first picked up the phone, they were curious on how we had found out about them, as they take their business very seriously. To start the conversation, they informed us of how much my future little buddy would cost. If I wasn’t willing to pay that much or if I thought, I couldn’t swing it then it wasn’t worth continuing the conversation. That honesty, right off the bat told me that these guys know what they are doing. We continued to talk for probably about another hour, about the boxer breed, the way they raise them, and then they showed us the mom and dad and all the other wiggle butts via FaceTime. They also were very specific on what was included and what you would get from them from down payment to furever home day. After only two weeks they opened up their home and allowed us to come see my little dude as much as we wanted, as long as it worked with their schedule. That allowed us to start the bond with him right from the start. They went through everything the day we came to pick him up, from what to expect, boxer tendencies and the proper feeding and nutrition to give him. We decided to name our little guy Nash! Nash adjusted well to coming home with us. He had the normal puppy “accidents” to begin with, but now 6 months in he is potty trained, and crate trained. He has hyper moments when he zooms around the house. He plays well with his new brother. He loves to cuddle and take up all the bed space. Since bringing Nash home we have stayed in contact with the Reynolds family and have shared pictures, videos and updates on our little guy who is no longer a little guy. They were more than just a breeder, we came out of the whole process with new friendships that we will have forever and we share love for our boxers! I will always refer them to anyone looking for a boxer or if they are just looking for a family dog in general! They know what they are doing for sure. The Reynolds Homestead Boxers … are knock outs!

We had never had a dog prior to Cedar, and we really weren’t sure what to expect. Dave and Nicole were so forthcoming with advice about daily care, hygiene, and training that it made the initial process so much easier. Cedar is now 2 years old, and he has been an amazing addition to our family. Whether your’e first-time dog owners like us, or have never known life without one, if you are searching for a four-legged addition to your family, Dave and Nicole are great at what they do and their dogs are amazing.
— The Hannoush Family (Albany, NY)
When we decided it was finally time to find a new member of our family after losing our dog Harper two years ago (which left a giant hole in our hearts), we really didn’t know where to start or what to expect. We knew it wouldn’t be easy, and that we could never replace him. But after an unexpected encounter with a fellow dog lover that led us down this awesome path, we had found Dave and Nicole…and the search was over before it even began. And we are so truly thankful that it was! From the first time we met them and the pups, we knew it was meant to be. They opened their home and their hearts to us from day one - inviting us to come visit the puppies anytime we wanted or call 24/7 with any questions. Dave and Nicole made it a truly unique, comfortable, and exciting experience for us and our daughters in picking out our boy Oscar. We knew right away that he was coming from a family of dedicated breeders that truly love BOXERS and want to find the perfect homes for them too. It really is all about family with Dave and Nicole, and that meant the world to us. We absolutely recommend anyone looking for a Boxer puppy companion to stop looking anywhere else and just call Dave and Nicole. Thanks again for everything you guys do Reynolds Family!
—The Catanzaro Familam
We got our puppy, Luna, from the Reynolds family and will never get another dog from any other breeder again. The Reynolds are not just an amazing breeder, but an amazing family. The dogs aren’t just a “business” for them. They truly love each and every puppy from each and every litter. They keep all the puppies in the family home and even start early training before they go to their new homes. They won’t just sell “their” puppies to anyone and insist on meeting each person/family to ensure they are going to good homes. The best part is we not only got an amazing dog, but amazing new friends in the deal too. If you want a breeder who truly cares about the puppies, the Reynolds is the breeder for you!! hands down the best ever!!! The Reynolds – Dave, Nicole and their two daughters, Aubrey & Camille!!
— Larry, Michelle, Skyler & Hunter Clouse (new Jersey)
I’ve been friends with Dave and Nicole for over 10 years. I have the first puppy from their first litter. I can say they are the best boxer breeders around. They definitely take the time to train the puppies one on one. They are raised inside the home and well-loved and spoiled by them and anyone that comes to visit. They care for each one of the puppies as if they were keeping them for themselves. If you have any questions regarding the breed, they are quick to answer. I love the fact that when you pick up your puppy, you get a goodie bag full of dog food, treats, a toy, a piece of a blanket with their mom’s scent on it and also your packet from the vet regarding their first visit and shots. Our boxer is 5 and she is the best dog. I would highly recommend Dave and Nicole to anyone looking for a boxer puppy!! I also love the fact that if you are having issues training your puppy whether the potty training or temperament, they offer their own personal time to help you. They will go to your house or their own house to help you with training your dog. I also like the fact that if you are going out of town, you can ask them to watch your dog while you’re gone or if you just go to visit them, you can bring your dog to run with the pack. Trust me, you don’t have to worry about them which is a big relief as your puppy or dog will be well taken care of and spoiled rotten by them. Again, I cannot say enough about how well our pup was taken care of before we brought her home.
—Tara Wiegand (Baldwinsville, New York)
My husband and I would like to thank Dave and Nicole for the two great puppies we got from them. Dave and Nicole have been very informative and attentive to our questions and to the puppies. We got weekly updates and weights on the puppies. As well as daily videos via Facebook as they grew and went out on adventures with the famalam. These puppies are raised in the house from day one and, therefore are used to household noises and people being around them. It has been helpful in the transition to our home. We also had what we called visitation lol with the pups before they were old enough to leave mom. Dave and Nicole graciously opened their home to us so we could bond with the pups. I am aware of others doing this as well. With that being said the pups come socialized with other people and the dogs in the home. They stand behind their dogs and the health of the dogs as well. We have called Dave a few times with questions on training and he has been very informative, and his advice has helped us many times. You are not just handed a puppy and you’re on your own. My girls will be going back to Dave and Nicole’s for boarding in October. I have never boarded a dog before, but I feel confident in leaving my dogs with them. We wish them all the best with any and all future pups they will have. Also, as long as Dave and Nicole are breeding, we will go back to them for any additions we add to our family.
— William and Laura Parmeter (Hamilton, New York)
In July of 2019, my husband and I purchased our female, brindle boxer from Nicole and Dave Reynolds. Nicole took the time to sit down with us and chat about everything they would provide all the way from birth information to food, up to dates shots and potty training. We were able to go and meet the litter prior to picking out our puppy. Nala was the perfect addition to our family and a great little sister to our 9-year-old female boxer Nina. They were inseparable from the moment we got home. Nala now has a little sister Nova that she looks out for just as Nina did for her. Our experience with the Reynolds was great. They provide a clean and healthy environment for their litters and are truly a great family and resource to use for your next puppy! We highly recommend them for your next addition!
— John and Erica Nicotera (Whitesboro, New York)
Two years ago, after the loss of our beloved boxer who we were fortunate enough to have for 13years, we decided to try and find a boxer puppy to adopt. Dave and Nicole came highly recommended to us through a mutual friend/family member, and we are so grateful. In the fall of 2020, we adopted our Thaddeus and his sister Mirabella and then 7 months later we went back for one more and got our Hazel. What joy these pups have brought into our lives and what a pleasure it was working with Dave and Nicole - from the almost daily updates, constant pictures, health reports and then the follow up once we took the pups home was so consistent and heartfelt. Their family (and I use the word family because that's what it is - it doesn't feel like they're running a business) is so gracious and accessible. We couldn't be happier. We have had the dogs for nearly 2 years, and we still talk to them regularly - that says a lot! We couldn't recommend them highly enough.
— The Mastriani Family (Mike, Chrissy, Sam, Ben + Chris) (Albany, New York)
I found Dave and Nicole very easy to work with. Before we had even committed to bringing a pup into our family, Dave took his own time talking to me on the phone explaining their breeding program. During the conversation, it was very clear that the dogs are not just used for breeding, they are first and foremost, members of the Reynolds family. That was so important to me, as we’ve all seen and heard stories of female dogs being given away or euthanized after they stop producing puppies. Dave and Nicole would never let that happen to their pets, and I commend them for this.
When we got to the Reynolds Homestead to pick up our new addition to our family, I saw all their Boxers in action- the older ones running, playing, and roughhousing like Boxers do (haha). The puppies were all together enjoying a quiet afternoon nap in their pen, which is in the family’s living room. It was easy to see that the dogs have Dave and Nicole’s attention at all times. Our little pup, CeCe, was a perfect fit for our family and she’s been spoiled rotten ever since we brought her home. And if we feel like CeCe needs a sibling to play with, my first call will be to Dave and Nicole.
— The Hauck Family (Utica, New York)
I contacted Dave after receiving a referral from another breeder. The process was very straightforward. Dave and his family were very helpful. My wife was upset over having lost our previous boxer during the summer and it seemed that getting another dog would be helpful for her. Probably one of the best parts of the experience was being able to visit regularly while Bella was being weaned. I feel it definitely helped with bonding. My wife and I are both very happy with our purchase and enjoy Bella very much. I highly recommend Dave if you are considering getting a quality boxer.
